Clannad Kickstarter releases English sub intro video on final day

I feel that my personal relationship with Clannad is that of anyone who’s seen both the original series and After Years. It’s absolute gorgeous work of art the hammers at the very core of your emotions until you're nothing more than a pathetic mush. It’s the type of relationship where you love it so much that you want to re-watch the series in its entirety but can’t bring yourself to even start up After Years. It all depends on just what sort of level of masochism you’re willing to subject yourself too.

With all that said, the Clannad Kickstarter project in on it’s very last day. While only asking for $140,000, this visual novel remake for English players has reached over $485,000 at the time of this post. Key and Sekai Project have made this happen for Steam towards the end of this year. Due to the massive amount of money donated to this project, three stretch goals have been achieved; we’re talking HD assets, Clannad side stories, and even an all-new Clannad anthology manga releasing in the west BEFORE Japan. I didn’t even know that could be a thing.
