Following a weekend full of one gem resource boosting, Supercell Games has confirmed that the highly anticipated Clash of Clans update is "coming soon."
In a status today, the developer said they were putting "the last finishing touches" on the update, but that it should be released soon. In the meantime, they shared some new Lava Hound gameplay, courtesy of Chief Pat.
In case you missed last week's sneak peeks, the Lava Hound is a new air unit coming with the new update. Designed as a tank, the Lava Hound is used to soak up damage from anti-air defensive buildings. By sending this unit out first, you can grab the attention of anti-air defense buildings and then send in your heavy hitting flying units, like dragons and balloons.
Other features in the new upcoming update include level 13 Archer Towers, level 7 Barbarians and Archers, reduced Valkyrie training time, the ability to upgrade an entire row of wall pieces in just one go, and the option to upgrade level 6-plus walls with Elixir instead of Gold.
