Last month at ClashCon, developer Supercell Games teased the next major update for Clash of Clans. Included in the update will be Town Hall Level 11, a new defensive building, a new Hero, and an expansion to your base layout — among other surprises I'm sure.
Unfortunately, since the event, we haven't heard much. Supercell recently held an art contest seemingly confirming the new hero to be a wizard-type character, but we still don't have a release date and we don't know when to expect Supercell to start their week of sneak peeks.
Addressing their players on Facebook, Supercell confirmed they are still working on the update, nothing that it's "going to take some weeks until its rolled out." The fact that they said weeks and not months suggests the update is still on track to arrive in mid-to-late November or possibly early December.
The good news is Supercell said they hope to start releasing some more info on what's coming in the update "soonish." As always, we'll keep you updated with anything we learn.
The last major Clash of Clans update came in September. It introduced Clan War Tiebreakers, improved spells, and a new look for level 11 walls that sort of matches the look of Town Hall 11.
