I think we can all agree that when it comes to the Resident Evil franchise, Capcom needs help. Whether it's in the franchise's overall direction, or just gameplay, something needs to be fixed. And Cliff Bleszinski just might be the guy up for the job.
In a tweet shared around the world, Cliffy B offered, "Hey, Capcom. Call me. We can fix Resident Evil. Together."
In all likelihood he's probably joking. Earlier this month, Bleszinski left Epic Games, while suggesting he had grown tired of the gaming industry and that it was "time for a much needed break."
Maybe his break is over and now he wants to fill his plate with another huge franchise. So how would Cliff fix Resident Evil? For me, it'd be a return to its survival-horror roots. Of course, having worked on Gears of War, he could turn it into the decent third-person shooter that Capcom has been trying to do for years.
Capcom UK did tweet back, "bring Pizza."
