The company behind the Xbox 360 and PS3 Avenger controllers, N-Control, has donated $10,000 to Child's Play, a video game industry charity that improves childrens' lives throughout 70 hospitals worldwide.
The Avenger controllers are for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and have custom add-ons to help with reaction time and movement. The company also has plans to develop more add-ons to help a wider audience of disabled gamers.
Not only did N-Control donate $10,000 to the charity, but also promised to donate $50,000 worth of Avenger accessories should the charity accept. The charitable donations are a good move by the company as they've had extremely bad luck in good PR for their controllers due to an Ocean Strategy PR Rep, Paul Christoforo and his emails with a customer and Mike Krahulik, who is best known for Penny Arcade and being the co-founder of PAX.
Since the emails, N-Control fired Christoforo as their PR rep, and look to be on the right track with their donations to Child's Play.
