Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front release date announced with new trailer

On June 24, 2014, Company of Heroes 2 will add multiplayer via the standalone expansion, The Western Front Armies. As is the case with most release date announcements, SEGA also revealed that those who pre-order The Western Front will also receive two unique vehicle skins (one for each faction) with matching faceplates.

Coinciding with the announcement is a new trailer that not only shows off gameplay, but two unique collections of new content as well — the US Forces and the German Oberkommando West. Each army has distinctive tactical gameplay options, new infantry, team weapons, vehicles, abilities and upgrades on a total of eight seasonal multiplayer maps all set on the Western Front. Additionally, The Western Front Armies also includes an "extended progression system" that brings other unique content into the game, offering even deeper tactics and strategies.

The Western Front Armies will be available on June 24, 2014 for $19.99. If only one army intrigues you, then you can purchase it as a standalone for $12.99 via digital download.
