Movie soundtracks hold a special place in a lot of our hearts. There really wasn’t a single teen girl in the 90’s that didn’t have the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack and it was pretty much law that if you were around in 1995 you knew all the words to Kiss From a Rose after the Batman Forever soundtrack dropped.
With all the excitement surrounding the Deadpool movie next year, news of the soundtrack is welcome fuel to the fire. Via Twitter Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL, announced he will be composing the playlist for the Merc with a Mouth. A frequent partner with Hans Zimmer, he previously worked on the score for Mad Max: Fury Road, Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Rises.
Now, that’s definitely something to look forward to.
