After delaying its release to Q3 2017, Funcom has finally announced the release date for the Xbox One Game Preview version of Conan Exiles. Conan Exiles will launch later this summer for Xbox One on August 16th, 2017 and will get a 4K update when the Xbox One X launches later this Fall. On top of that, Conan Exiles will launch a free expansion update on the same day which will take players to the frigid highlands in the North.
Here's the teaser trailer for the expansion update:
The North will offer up its own set of flora and fauna (including wooly mammoths) as well as new buildings and game features and will launch simultaneously on both platforms. According to Funcom's Head of Games, Lawrence Poe the added content will increase the size of the game world by 50%.
Since launching back in January, Conan Exiles sold over half a million units in its first month and became a tad notorious for the inclusion of the "Endowment Slider."
Conan Exiles is available now for PC and will come to Xbox One in just under a month.
