Back in 2014, a horrifying demo by the name of P.T. launched on PlayStation 4. As fans would discover shortly afterward, it was actually an interactive teaser for Silent Hills, which at the time was a new project in development at Kojima Productions. As the story goes, Konami, in the wake of a public fallout between Kojima Productions, elected to cancel the project, removing P.T. from Sony's servers. Alas, P.T. was gone forever.
Turns out, though, it's not forgotten. The cancelled Silent Hills project still lives in the hearts of many, including Kojima Productions who have apparently hidden a P.T. easter egg within Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
It comes in the form of the chilling radio report that perpetually looped in P.T. Discovered by YouTube channel Arekkz Gaming, players can find a cassette player in The Phantom Pain that, if activated, will play the same unnerving news report — this time not distorted — sharing the details of a domestic murder. The cassette player can be found inside a tent at the Ngumba Industrial Zone, which is located at the Angola-Zaire Border.
