In the mood for a slick retro-style RPG? Cthulhu Saves the World may just be what you’re looking for. It’s a sort of spiritual sequel to Breath of Death VII, the Xbox Live Indie RPG. Equal parts JRPG parody and love-letter, it also sported some simple, excellent gameplay and retro-styled graphics. Cthulhu Saves the World aims to be even better.
Zeboyd Games promises 6-10 hours of gameplay, the option to save wherever you want, bonus game modes, and an insanity system that allows you to, “inflict insanity on your opponents for fun and profit!”
The game is available now on Xbox Live Marketplace for 240 points.
