Lost Odyssey was one of the biggest reasons why I went for the Xbox 360 over the PS3 first, back in my undergrad days. I had such an affinity for JRPG's growing up, and the game encompassed many qualities that I loved about the genre. Sadly, Lost Odyssey is one of the last of what feels like a dying breed; a real JRPG with a story that legitimately tugs at your heartstrings without leaning on weak and chronic self-defamation to guilt you into liking them (*cough* Lightning).
Xbox's Major Nelson took to Twitter to make the official announcement:
Lost Odyssey, Toy Story 3 and Guwange are coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today https://t.co/qPMRNrLoTQ pic.twitter.com/9CI3GeOHBz

Lost Odyssey is not the only game getting Backwards Compatibility, as Toy Story 3 and Guwange are joining the party as well. It's been a good week for backwards compatibility, as Call of Duty: World at War got support earlier in the week as well. Keep it up, Microsoft!
