One of the year's best indie games, Cuphead, is coming to a store shelf near you very soon. Well, at least a box with some pictures of it is. Wario64 tweeted out an image from the CheapAssGamer forums showing off a "physical" version of Cuphead that will release next week. Of course, there isn't any actual disc inside the box, as it comes with a digital download code for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
Here's a picture:
What it does come with is one of five collectible art cels, which you can see on the bottom right on the front of the case, and at the top on the back. It's not exactly a replacement for a disc, but considering the quick turn around that Microsoft has done to get this on store shelves, at least there's something tangible in the package.
Gamers have done some pretty impressive things with Cuphead since release, namely beating every boss without taking any damage and another one beating the bosses using a Dance Dance Revolution pad.
Cuphead released at the end of September to near-universal acclaim. The game currently holds a 96% positive user rating on Steam and seems to be a shoe-in for the year's best art style. Cuphead is available now on Xbox One and PC.
