D3Publisher and Cartoon Network Enterprises partner for Adventure Time game

D3Publisher and Cartoon Network Enterprises are working together to release Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?! this fall for Nintendo 3DS and DS.

The premise of the game is exactly as you might expect from the title: Finn and Jake set out to teach the princess-napping Ice King a lesson about stealing people's garbage. What does the old bearded wizard want with all that junk? To create his own Garbage Princess, of course!

Adventure Time fans have been asking for a video game to complement the series for some time, and we are working directly with Pendelton Ward, who has an amazing vision for the game,” said Peter Andrew, vice president of product development at D3P.

Ward, the creator of the accompanying television series, is designing a new storyline and quests for the game in collaboration with developer WayForward.
