It's not official, but an Amazon listing for the digital copy of Dark Souls 2 says the game will release for PC on May 31, 2014. It's important to note that retailer listings aren't always accurate, but this is one of the few solid dates we've seen tossed around regarding the PC version of the game.
We're just a little over a month away from Dark Souls 2's March 11 release on Xbox 360 and PC. Developer FromSoftware has said in the past that the PC version would see a slight delay as to assure it's not a disappointing port, but so far no details have been shared.
Adding to the skepticism is the fact that May 31st is a Monday, not a traditional release day for video games. Should it be on a Tuesday, we can expect Dark Souls 2 for PC on April 1st or possibly a week earlier on March 24. So while the Amazon listing may not be 100 percent accurate, perhaps it gives us a nice little window as to when we can expect the game to arrive on PC?
Heck, I don't know. If you find yourself bored, maybe read over the Into the Light digital comic that has been releasing these past few weeks.
