Towards the beginning of February, the Xbox Store confirmed that the first Dark Souls game would be available on the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility thanks to Dark Souls 3 pre-order incentives. Up until that point it had been rumored that the game would come as a pre-order bonus for Dark Souls 3 on the Xbox One, but neither rumor nor confirmation revealed when the game would be available.
Microsoft's Larry Hryb has confirmed that Dark Souls, along with Tekken Tag Tournament 2 are now available on the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility.
Xbox One users can also look forward to a slew of new features, thanks to the March System Update. Released today, the update has brought the ability to purchase Xbox 360 Games On Xbox One, 16-Person Party Chat and more.
