Earlier today, Namco Bandai launched the debut trailer for Dark Souls, the upcoming successor to the incredibly difficult action RPG Demon’s Souls for the PlayStation 3. The trailer shows off some hack-and-slash combat, a number of daunting enemies both large and small, and some impressive scenery. The whole thing has a fittingly dark look that fans of the original game are sure to enjoy.
Dark Souls will launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation, and it is slated for a holiday 2011 release, as stated by Namco Bandai.
