Darksiders 2 for Wii U includes five hours of additional content

In a day filled with Wii U announcements, THQ has confirmed that its upcoming action adventure title Darksiders 2 will be released for the Wii U system. It will be available at launch when the Wii U releases on November 18, and it will include "around five hours of additional content".

It will also include the first DLC expansion, Arugl's Tomb, as well as all pre-order bonuses from the other editions, totaling around five hours of playable content and new legendary weapons and armor. Some of the additional bonus-content is not found on other formats.

Taking advantage of the GamePad, Darksiders 2 on Wii U will use the touch screen to display map and objectives as well as giving quick access to abilities and Death's inventory. The system's gyro functionality will be used to evade enemy attacks, manipulate objects in the world, and steer the character during swimming and riding sequences.

“We are delighted that Wii U owners will be able to experience the vast world of Darksiders 2 at launch," said producer Ryan Stefanelli. "The unique Wii U GamePad adds a whole world of possibility that we will be taking advantage of in this title.”
