DayZ, the game that debatably started the whole early access survival game "thing" is finally almost in beta. Almost. The switch to beta will happen in update 0.63, with the next one scheduled being 0.62.
Most of the DayZ team is working on 0.63, with a small team working on 0.62. This leads us to believe 0.63 is going to be a much bigger update. That also means that 0.62 may take a bit longer to release.
Hopefully, this revitalizes the title. DayZ started out promising, but the pace of updates for the game have been very slow, which has lost them quite a number of fans. Those who are still around, however, are die-hards who are most likely very excited about this update.
It's unclear what either update will bring at this time, but the update is at least in sight.
