Bohemia Interactive's Arma 3, which is currently in beta, is getting a little treat. Fans of the DayZ mod for Arma 2 will be happy to know that modding group Zoombies will be porting the zombie mod to the Arma 3 beta all by themselves.
DayZ will be a straight port to Arma 3; with that straight port will come existing bugs with the original version of the game, one of which includes glitches with the zombie animation. However, it will make use of the Arma 3 engine, and the modders are introducing a new inventory system to the game.
Until theofficial DayZ standalone game comes out — which has no official launch date set since it was delayed from end of 2012 — this mod is a welcome addition.
