Dead Island franchise shuffles into Steam’s Midweek Sale

Now that Dead Island 2 has been delayed until 2016, it gives you plenty of time to catch up on the first-person, zombie-slaughtering franchise. And to help you do so, Steam is discounting the various Dead Island games for its Midweek Sale.

From now through 10:00am Pacific on Friday, you can save up to 80 percent on the Dead Island series. This includes the original Dead Island, Dead Island Riptide (and its DLC), and the various spinoffs like Escape Dead Island.

The highlight, of course, is the Dead Island Franchise Pack. Normally $29.99, the 80 percent discount brings it down tojust $5.99 for Dead Island and Riptide with the DLC packs.
