Dead Space 3 early demo access codes being sent out

EA has begun sending out the early access codes for the Dead Space 3 demo on Xbox 360. Although the official demo doesn't go live until January 22, EA was offering everyone with an Origin account early access to the demo on Xbox 360, provided you registered on the official Dead Space page.

We just received our code to download the demo, so we assume everyone should be getting them shortly, if you haven't already. If you didn't register via the Origin account, you aren't completely out of luck. There are a few ways you can win a chance for an early access code by following Dead Space 3 on Facebook and Twitter.

In the demo, players will be thrust into deep space terror when unwilling hero – Isaac Clarke – and all-new co-op companion – Sergeant John Carver – crash land on Tau Volantis, an unforgiving ice planet teeming with Necromorphs. Dead Space 3 takes the franchise’s core elements of suspense, horror, action and sound and introduces them to all-new elements – including co-op play – that allows players to work together to take down the most ambitious Dead Space experience yet.

We'll be sure to post our impressions of the demo as soon as we play through it. Dead Space 3 releases for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on February 5, 2013.
