Dead Space 3 pre-order yields two badass weapons

Visceral Games has revealed the bonuses that will be available to those who pre-order upcoming action game Dead Space 3. Depending on the retailer, you'll receive either teh EG-900 SMG or the Tesla Enervator, two badass weapons unique in their own way.

The EG-900 SMG will be available through GameStop. This EarthGov-issued sub machinegun is built for urban warfare. It's "compact but deadly, sporting an internal hyper-accelerator for maximum damage."

Online retailer giant Amazon will offer the Tesla Enervator, developed by Sovereign Colonies scientists from an "overdrive focus coil to "humanely" eliminate dangerous specimens." The Enervator "delivers a precision blast causing instantaneous electrocution and molecular destabilization in the target. In test subjects, death was instantaneous."

Both weapons, though completely different, will offer the necessary firepower to stop the Necromorph infestation once and for all…or at least until the inevitable Dead Space 4. Dead Space 3 will be available on February 5, 2013 in North America for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
