[Updated] Destiny 2 going down for maintenance; Fixing access to Iron Banner, Faction Rallies

Five hours (or more) of downtime.

Update:

The update has released. Patch notes below.

Iron Banner

  • Players who do not own Curse of Osiris may once again access Iron Banner when available

Faction Rallies

  • Players who do not own Curse of Osiris may once again pledge to Factions during Faction Rally events

Original:

Destiny 2 servers will be taken offline for approximately five hours today for maintenance. The maintenance will be bringing Hotfix 1.1.1.2 to the game and it will be available to download and install during the server maintenance.

Hotfix 1.1.1.2 is intended to address ‘address issues related to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies access.’ Essentially, this Hotfix will make Iron Banner and Faction Rallies accessible to all Destiny 2 players, regardless of DLC ownership.

Patch notes for the Hotfix will be available once the maintenance has completed. While the maintenance has been detailed to take servers offline for five hours, it was noted that the server downtime is subject to extension.
