This weekend, PlayStation 4 owners were treated to a first look Alpha at Bungie's upcoming MMO shooter, Destiny. Though the Alpha was scheduled to end last night, Bungie took to Twitter to announce "a rumor" that the game's Alpha is going to to be extended "to allow dangerous experiments." I have no idea what that means, but Bungie warns to "play behond the official close at your own risk!" We don't know how long the Alpha will be extended for, so play while you can.

The Destiny Alpha was quite limited on PS4 — offering a brief storyline mission, multiplayer Strike, and a more broad explore mode — but it didn't stop us from having fun. We actually spent the majority of our time just roaming Old Russia taking in the game's beauty. You can read our initial impressions here.
For those eager to jump into the world of Destiny, a beta for the game will be going live on July 17. This will likely open up to more players, including those who pre-ordered the game.
