Destiny enters ‘Year Two’ with tomorrow’s release of Update 2.0

We're just a little over a week away from Orxy's arrival in The Taken King, but tomorrow Guardians will take their first steps in what Bungie is calling "Year Two" of Destiny.

Tomorrow, Bungie will unleash Update 2.0, a massive update that marks the beginning of a new era for Destiny. With it comes a new level cap no longer dependent on gear Light, improvements to the Quests and Bounties system, tuning/changes to weapons and armor, and lots more. It's going to be massive. And keep in mind, this is before The Taken King even arrives on September 15th.

To celebrate the release of update 2.0, a new cinematic for The Taken King has been released, which you can watch above.

As a reminder, if you're playing Destiny on PS4 or Xbox One, you're going to need aroudn 18GB of free space on your hard drive. Xbox 360 players will need 10GB, while PS3 will need about 20GB to install it (once installed on PS3, you'll only need around 10GB free). For a full breakdown to prepare for Update 2.0, check out our previous post.
