Destiny’s free legendary gift has arrived. Check the postmaster!

Bungie hasn't make a big deal about it, but if you log in to Destiny today, I suggest heading over to the Postmaster. That's because the eagerly awaited "legendary" gift has arrived.

When checking in with the Postmaster today, you should receive mail from an "Unknown Benefactor."

The item converts into a random legendary class weapon (primary, secondary, or heavy) with random perks. And since it's just legendary rank, as expected, some of you, I presume, will dismantle it immediately. Unfortunately, there's no hope for getting something better as it's reportedly one gift per account, no per character.

The items you receive are different for everyone. For instance, my gift was the Time On Target Legendary Pulse Rifle. I think I would rather have had a legendary Sparrow or some cool cosmetic item, but it's a free gift, so I'll take it.
