Destiny’s Halloween Jackolyte is more of a trick for some

Hidden in yesterday's Destiny update was a special Halloween treat for Guardians.

For a limited time, players who visit the Postmaster are supposed to receive the "All Hallow's Eve" box which contains three Jackolyte pumpkin head consumables. When used, the consumables place a giant, glowing pumpkin head on your Guardian. However, it appears that some Guardians who use this consumable are finding themselves a trick instead of a fun treat.

A number of users in the comments section of our original article announcing the Halloween surprise have pointed out that the Jackolyte doesn't work. Most of the complaints seem to be with the Xbox versions of the game, but over on Bungie's Facebook page, you can find many more users experiencing similar problems.

Bungie has yet to address the complaints, but we've contacted them for comment. In the meantime, let us know if you are experiencing similar problems with the Jackolyte.
