Developers reveal WWE 2K16’s new creative features

Create a Diva? Create your very own custom belt? Oh my, 2K Sports where oh where did you find these magnificent ideas?…

Any long-standing follower of the wrestling industry will know the answer to the question above. These "brand new" features have already been included in the older games.

But don't be sour, feel the power! The inclusion of any new creative features is definitely a step forward, especially after WWE 2K15's pretty poor reviews.

2K Sports' developmental team have today taken to Instagram to reveal some of the cool and creative features that the game will include.

CUSTOM TITLE BELTS:

WWE 2K16 will seemingly mark the return of custom title belts and despite our earlier comments, this could actually be a really cool feature. Nostalgia is often a good thing, especially with WWE fans, and this customisation feature will potentially allow gamers to create, compete for and play with their very own custom championships. (Note to 2K: Please allow these to be defended online, as that would be cool.)

CREATE A DIVA:

The Divas revolution has finally arrived and hopefully this time it delivers. 2K Sports has already announced that many of the WWE and NXT Divas such as Sasha Banks, Charlotte and many others will feature in this year's video game.

Many WWE fans will be expecting the upcoming title to deliver on its promise, to provide the "biggest roster ever." This tool will not only allow gamers to explore the creation of their very own Diva, but will presumably allow them to wrestle with them, create an entrance, and hopefully even a story mode. Although sadly, this is all optimism at this point.

CREATE A SUPERSTAR: IMPROVEMENTS

Last but not least, WWE 2K16 will be including some very nice improvements to the create a superstar section. Many would argue that WWE's previous video game never really offered a wide choice of tools to create your own superstar, but if the photo above is anything to go off, WWE 2K16 will be looking to bury any previous issues. Astonishing beard.
