Devolver Digital’s E3 2017 presentation was a prerecorded sh*tpost on E3

Wow. That was wow.

You might have missed Devolver Digital's E3 2017 press conference, it was tucked into the Twitch livestream of E3 2017 at 10 hours and 5 minutes and only lasted about 15 minutes in total. The presentation from Devolver Digital was a pre-recorded sh*tpost in the E3 2017 presentation lineup.

Devolver Digital, the folks behind Hotline Miami and Serious Sam, hasn't kept their feelings towards the folks that run E3, the ESA, a secret per say, but the sarcasm-filled presentation definitely made it more clear than ever. It's being argued as one of the best E3 2017 presentation and on of the worst – but Devolver knew what they were doing.

The 15-minute sketch began with Nina Struthers, a fictional character played by actress Mahria Zook, taking the stage and promising to deliver on all the unethical business practices that gamers could expect from any game creator. The presentation poked fun at how developers release games on early access and charge full prices for unfinished games, microtransactions, and on user created content created from fan criticisms.

The entire thing uses the same audience clips over and over, egregious amounts of blood, and plenty of cynism. If you are curious enough to watch, check it out below.
