Shortly after the launch of Diablo 3, Blizzard will be adding a new Character Profiles feature the game's official website allowing you to review all of your character information, share it with others, and check out the accomplishments of others playing the game.
The new personalized menu will allow you to look at your heroes or friends from any page of the Diablo 3 website by simply clicking over to their profiles. The initial launch of this new Porfiles feature will include two elements:
- A career tab that displays all of your heroes, how far you’ve progressed in the Diablo III campaign, how many foes you’ve slain, the names and playtimes of your fallen Hardcore heroes, and more.
- A heroes tab that shows off your equipment (including dyes, socketed gems, all equipment bonuses, etc.), your attributes and skills, the skills and equipment of your Followers, and more.
Down the road Blizzard plans to add tabs that will show off your artisans and achievements as well. Blizzard didn't give an exact release date for this feature, but did say it will be available on the site "sooner rather than later".
In preparation for Diablo 3's May 15th official release, Blizzard will be unlocking the game's installer at 8:01 a.m. PDT today. This will allow you to begin installing the game, download and install the launch day 1.0.1 patch, and be ready to play as soon as the servers come online. Find out more about Diablo 3's release in the launch day guide.
