DICE is letting Battlefield 4 players know that the studio appreciates you, especially your patience during the game's rough launch. And what better way to show their appreciation then with a Double XP week?
From November 28 through December 5, Battlefield 4 players will receive Double XP for every multiplayer match completed.
"We understand that the launch issues may have impacted your progression, and we want to do everything we can to help you get back the XP that you may have lost," DICE said.
Additionally, on December 5, DICE will give all players that log in to Battlefield 4 multiplayer a M1911 pistol scope. Previously reserved for DICE developers, this special sidearm scope has 3X zoom and is available for all classes.
"You are the heart and soul of Battlefield," said DICE's Karl Magnus Troedsson. "We thank you for your support in these early days of the launch, and will continue to show our appreciation as time goes on."
DICE is continuing to work to stabilize the game and today they announced that they finally identified and eliminated "three of the most common crash issues" for Battlefield 4 on PS4. They should be fixed in a game update planned for release during the week of November 25. The PC version has already largely been stabilized.
