Diddy Kong isn't just in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Donkey Kong's cap-wearing sidekick has also been confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming Wii U and 3DS version of Super Smash Bros.
He's the latest character to join the game, bringing the amount of characters up to 24. Most recently, Little Mac from the Punch-Out!! series was revealed.
Seeing as how Diddy Kong is now the 24th character announced, and that 24 is making a return to television in a few months, I think it's only fitting that Jack Bauer makes an appearance in the game. DLC maybe?
