Disney Infinity 3.0 makes its mobile debut today

Disney Infinity has always thrived ever since its inception, but today I'm quite surprised to learn that mobile has so far been the most popular platform for the two games in terms of number of players and community engagement, according to the latest press release. Granted, the game is free on both Android and iOS platforms, but given the ease of control on consoles, it's still quite surprising.

Today marks the release of Disney Infinity 3.0 on both mobile platforms, and once again, the app will be completely free for all players. Those who already own Disney Infinity 3.0 and previous toys, can enter their web codes and all characters will be transferred to the mobile game, giving players even more unprecedented freedom to create their own unique worlds and levels.

The coolest part? All of these levels can be shared across all other versions of the game, and other Toy Box levels can be downloaded and played on the mobile version. Sure, you're not getting the full Playset experience, but creating levels on the go seems like a pretty sweet deal, especially since it's free.
