Divinity: Original Sin 2 just has that feeling of a game that is going to make an instant impact. Larian Studios has seemingly done everything right with their massively successful Kickstarter campaign for the game by providing updates regularly and showing off the game at Gamescom 2016 and PAX West.
Speaking of PAX West, that was the focus of the latest Kickstarter update for the game, as Larian Studios lets players get their hands on the competitive Arena Mode. Feedback appears to be very positive, with many players referencing how intuitive everything felt and how easy it was just to drop right in. Larian says that 1,536 matches were played at PAX West and that they noticed players coming back around for third and fourth helpings of the mode.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be having an Early Access stream ahead of launch on September 14th at 10 AM PST, so if you are interested, you can head over to Larian's official Twitch channel here.
On the subject of Early Access, backers can now claim their codes through the Larian Vault, but the only platform available right now for play is Steam. So if you were hoping for a DRM-Free version on GOG.com, you will have to wait a little bit longer.
