Divinity: Original Sin, the crowdfunded the RPG which has been available on Steam through the Early Access program since January, finally has a formal release date. It will officially be released on June 20, 2014, Larian Studios announced today.
Coinciding with today's announcement is a new update for the Steam Early Access version featuring tons of improvements and additions including a complete overhaul of loot generation matrix, 135 new music tracks, an overhaul of all lighting, shading and zoom, and much, much more. Many of the improvements are highlighted in the video above.
Divinity: Original Sin is said to take you back to the roots of RPG adventure. That is, "isometric, party based, turn based, gripping dialogues, choice and consequence, deep story, profound character and party development." You'll take on the role of a young Source Hunter, and your job is to rid the world of evil doers. Of course, how you get there is completely up to you.
