Today marks the release of two highly anticipated downloadable content packs — Uprising for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Knife of Dunwall for Dishonored. While Uprising will eventually be available on all platforms, today's release is only for Xbox 360 and can currently be downloaded via Xbox LIVE. Below are the full details that expand your gameplay experience in both Black Ops 2 and Dishonored.
Uprising is the second official map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. As such it offers four new multiplayer maps — Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio. It also offers something for all you zombie lovers. The new mode, Mob of the Dead, stars four of Hollywood's best known mobsters — Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Madsen and, of course, Ray Liotta — as they find themselves trapped on the notorious Alcatraz Island — also known as Evil Island. As you can guess, there are zombies involved.
Uprising is currently available on Xbox LIVE for 1200 Microsoft Points, but is free to anyone who already owns the Season Pass. It will be coming to PS3 and PC at a later date. In the meantime, be sure to check back later today for our full feature gameplay video for Mob of the Dead.
Knife of Dunwall is a new story-driven add-on that puts you in the role of Daud, the legendary assassin whose actions kick off the game's plot. This expansion takes you "back to that fateful moment" and lets you control Daud, who struggles with the inner conflict of his actions. We recently went hands-on with the Knife of Dunwall add-on; you can read our preview here.
For those ready to dive right in, The Knife of Dunwall is available on PS3 and Steam for $9.99, and Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft Points.
