DmC Devil May Cry out today, check out our review

Today marks the official release of DmC Devil May Cry, a reboot of Capcom's popular hack and slash series. Developed by Ninja Theory, DmC Devil May Cry retells the story of Dante, a young man with supernatural powers who finds himself sucked into the demonic city of Limbo.

The game is set in an alternate reality in the Devil May Cry series and is Ninja Theory's take on the epic story. Although Dante's look has changed — which actually caused quite a stir among fans of the original series — the same fast-paced action is still present. Dante uses a combination of weapons — his trusty sword, Rebellion, and his deadly twin pistols Ebony and Ivory — to defeat the demons. New to the series are Dante's newest Angel Mode and Devil mode moveset which add even more weapon combinations — the Angelic Osiris scythe and the Demonic Arbiter. Combine all of these weapons and score the highest combo rank in the game.

DmC Devil May Cry is available today on Xbox 360 and PS3. It's coming to PC on January 25, 2013. If you are on the fence about the new DmC Devil May Cry, or hesitant about Dante's new look, check out our review of the game.
