Capcom shipped 1 million copies of Ninja Theory's reboot DmC: Devil May Cry in January, the publisher has announced.
The company has reduced its sales forecast to 1.2 million by March 31, according to Joystiq, which is less than its original projection of 2 million back in May 2012.
This figure doesn't account for the PC version, which released on Jan. 25. But this is still a good way behind sales for Devil May Cry 4, which shipped 2 million copies in its first two weeks.
Capcom also lowered its forecasts (again) for Resident Evil 6, marking shipments down to 5 million by March 31. Dragon's Dogma is up to 1.25 million. And Resident Evil: Raccoon City is hanging at 650,000 — which includes PC sales.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U has been a big success in Japan so far, selling over 600,000 copies by the end of 2012. It arrives in the U.S. in March.
