It's seems Bethesda's vague announcement of Skyrim's upcoming DLC, Dawnguard, has caused some confusion among the gaming community.
Yesterday, Bethesda posted a teaser image of the new Dawnguard DLC along with a caption that read: "Coming this summer to Xbox 360. More details at E3."
That was all. Naturally, let the console war begin as many PS3 and PC Skyrim players believed the DLC would be exclusive ONLY to Xbox 360.
That's simply not the case, and I feel this is more of a mix-up due to the wording Bethesda chose to use for their announcement. The Skyrim Dawnguard DLC will be released on Xbox 360 BEFORE the PlayStation 3 and PC. Everybody just calm down, Skyrim Dawnguard will eventually be released for all platforms, although I can't say when the PS3 or PC will get it.
If it is anything like the patches, PS3 fans can expect to wait quite a while. Look out for more details come E3 this June. However, we do have some ideas as for what is in store for players with the Dawnguard DLC.
