Doom update coming at Quakecon

iD Software General Manager, Garrett Young responded to a fan question on Twitter today revealing that more information on the upcoming Doom game will be revealed at Quakecon in a few weeks.  The event is scheduled to run from July 23-26, 2015 in Dallas, Texas.

Doom kicked off Bethesda's Inaugural E3 Press Conference with a very bloody and awesome looking vertical slice that detailed the basic gameplay, the custom map making system and competitive multiplayer.

No solid release date is currently set for Doom, but the game is currently expected to hit in Q2 2016 for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
