Dragon's Dogma is a vastly underrated Action-RPG that has managed to endure thanks to its relatively small (by AAA standards) but committed fanbase not to mention its PC re-release in January of last year. The PC re-release appears to have reignited demand in the game as Capcom has announced that the game will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One this fall.
The announcement was corroborated over Twitter. Here's the tweet.
The Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen PC port fixed a large number of the performance issues that plagued the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, and included options for unlocked framerate and 4K resolution. While the PS4 and Xbox One versions are unlikely to get unlocked framerates, 60 FPS is not out of the question, particularly on PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio.
