Driveclub no longer available for purchase on PlayStation Store

Server problems still persist

***UPDATE***

It seems like the product page we were looking at on our PlayStation 4 was of Driveclub PS Plus Edition which we already knew wasn't being made available just yet. Those interested in purchasing the full retail version of Driveclub digitally from the PlayStation Store can do so here.

***ORIGINAL***

Driveclub is no longer availble for purchase on the PlayStation Store. Though technically released yesterday, Driveclub's launch has been marred by connection issues.

Sony and developer Evolution Studios, in an attempt to alleviate the stress on the game's servers, originally only delayed the release of the free PS Plus Edition, as well as the My DRIVECLUB app. It appears, however, that the peristant problems have now forced them remove the ability to purchase the game entirely.

Though Driveclub is still seen on the PlayStation Store, it now has the message "Not available for purchase." What's more, it has no been 12 hours since Evolution Studios' last update on Driveclub's problems.

With DRIVECLUB, we are dedicated to delivering a dynamic and socially connected racing game that everyone can enjoy, and along the way we're facing new challenges which we haven’t encountered as a development team before. We are seeing a lot of activity and new social behaviours right now, but unfortunately this is pushing the servers to their absolute limits.

Even with all of this increased activity, it's hard to explain why the game is still suffering from connection problems 24 hours after release. It's even more baffling that it doesn't appear to be getting any better.
