Driveclub was initially released for PlayStation 4 back in October 2014. Fast forward almost a year later and we still don't have the free PlayStation Plus version that was promised to us. But that could be changing soon as Paul Rustchynsky, Evolution Studios' game director, confirmed that Driveclub PS Plus Edition is in "the final stages of development now."
I assume that means it's fairly close to release, but who knows with this game. Driveclub PS Plus Edition was originally due out alongside the full version of the game, but server problems and a number of other issues caused its delay.
After numerous updates on the status of the PS Plus version, Shuhei Yoshida, President of World Wide Studios, gave final word that its release would be postponed "until further notice." Earlier this month, an update paved the road for the PS Plus Edition's launch, though we still don't know how much longer it could take.
With E3 right around the corner, maybe Sony is waiting to make some sort of official announcement.
