Driveclub PS4 bundle unveiled for Europe

Sony has announced a new PlayStation 4 console bundle that includes upcoming racing game Driveclub. Announced for Europe, the Driveclub PS4 bundle will be priced at €439.99 and includes the system, a DualShock 4 controller, and a copy of the full game.

Driveclub is a unique game in the sense that it'll be released with a separate PS Plus Edition that'll offer a slimmed down version of the game for free to PlayStation Plus members. The free PS Plus Edition will offer players 10 cars and one country to race in which includes five tracks with 11 distinct variants. Upgrading to from the PS Plus Edition to the full retail version will cost $49.99 (€49.99), so it looks like the bundle will save you €10. Should you choose to purchase the full retail version of the game, you'll have access ot all five locations, 55 tracks, 50 cars and all 50 tour events.

At this point, the Driveclub PS4 bundle has only been confirmed for Europe. When asked if it was coming to the U.S., PlayStation UK community manager Fred Dutton said there were no plans that he was aware of, but acknowledged that's a question for someone on the SCEA team.
