This 'Defense Council' allows you to back Dungeon Defenders II's development by buying a seat and becoming a Councillor. Councillor's recieve a certain set of perks for $30.00:

Please note: The Council’s expansion is not the Early Access launch of Dungeon Defenders II. Instead, it is a limited opportunity for players to help craft and influence the development of the game before it’s ready for its full Early Access launch.
