Durarara!! characters spotted in Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker

It appears that Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker is getting come cameo characters, well, at least in Japan’s version. From the anime Durarara!! there will be three characters who can be summoned like other demons. This means they will probably be unique ‘demons’ and not be center characters. This is shown in the Atlus’ Japanese trailer playing above. The characters spotted are Celty, Izaya Orihara, and Shizuo Heiwajima.

These three characters will be available via the 3DS’ SpotPass feature during these dates and times:

  • Izaya Orihara – January 29 to February 4
  • Heiwajima – February 5-11
  • Celty – February 12-18

As someone who played though Devil Survivor Overclocked a month ago, I specifically remember thinking how Eiji “Gin” Kamiya reminded me of Shizuo Heiwajima in appearance – the whole bar tender look definitely helped.

While it is unknown if any of these features will be coming over to North America, I’m currently looking into it. Even if it only remains in Japan, a Devil Survivor and Durarara!! crossover makes me very happy.

Don't forget, Durarara!! x2 started last week! Check it out!
