Dying Light becomes Techland’s most popular title

For as well done as Dying Light was, I can't say I saw this coming. 45 days after the game's release, it has become Techland's most popular title in the company's history, having reached 3.2 million players in that time.

To celebrate the milestone, Techland has released an infographic sharing a number of interesting gameplay statistics logged during the 45 days since launch.

Some highlights include:

  • Over 378 million zombies killed
  • Over 7 million miles climbed, which equates to 7 years of freefall
  • and Over 93 million miles traveled, which is the distance from the Earth to the Sun.
Looking ahead, Techland hopes to keep up the momentum by releasing both free and paid-for DLC. Last week, the developer gave us a sneak peek at some of the new content to come, and some of the things that stood out to us were bows and vehicles.
