Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition goes gold

After weeks of highlighting new features and content, Techland has finally announced that Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition has gone gold. This means the game is officially ready, and the discs are now being packed and shipped to stores.

As a reminder, Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition will be available starting February 9th, although retail and digital availabiltiy may vary slightly, according to Techland. To help with the launch of the new expansion, Techland has released a chart of global release dates.

"The launch of Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition also means that the original version is going to be increasingly harder to come by," Techland explained. "Digitally, it’ll disappear instantly on February 9th.  As for retail, we will cease shipping additional copies, so it will remain available only as long as stocks last. If you plan to grab your copy of the vanilla Dying Light at a reduced price, or want the original box for your collection, now is the best time to do it."

Dying Light: The Following adds a slew of new features and content to the original base game, including Legendary Levels,Bounties, and an even harder Nightmare Mode difficulty. The "Enhanced Edition" is simply a collection of the original game, the Season Pass content, The Following expansion pack, and all enhancement updates.
