F*ck yea. And with one swift announcement, Sony has convinced me where to spend my hard-earned dollars when the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are released.
Sony announced that the PS4 will support used games during its E3 2013 press conference. Players will be able to trade games, lend them to others, or "keep them forever." Even better, there's no online connection required to play them, unlike the Xbox One.
CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America Jack Tretton said that "When a gamer buys a PS4 disc, they have the rights to use that disc, resell it, lend it to a friend or keep it forever." He added that games won't stop working after 24 hours without an online connection, and you won't have to check in online.
That was followed by a standing ovation from those in attendance.
