Bethesda has announced that the latest Elder Scrolls Online DLC — The Dark Brotherhood, will be making its way to consoles on June 14.
This DLC, which primarily focuses on one of the most iconic assassin's groups in the Elder Scrolls universe — The Dark Brotherhood, which released on PC and Mac a couple weeks ago on May 31. However, after the successful year of Elder Scrolls Online, Bethesda brought the DLC to consoles very quickly.
In addition, Bethesda showed off some stats of the MMORPG, Elder Scrolls Online, which are pretty impressive. In the video below you can see that the game's community past 13 billion quests, 3 billion gold acquired from bounties, and over 34 billion monsters killed.
Bethesda has also announced that Elder Scrolls Online will be adding a new feature called One Tamriel. This new feature will disregard the level differences between all of its players, allowing a giant playable open world to everyone. Here's what Game Director Matt Firor had to say:
With One Tamriel, we are opening up the entire playable world to everyone, no matter their level. This is a pretty big deal. One Tamriel makes the game much more grouping and social-friendly, as the player base will no longer be divided into thirds and also won’t be divided by player level. The reasons we are doing this are simple: we want to make it easier for ESO players to group together, and to promote the sense of freedom to explore that Elder Scrolls games are known for. In other words, we’re bringing the same auto-leveling system (called “battle leveling”) that has been so successful in our DLCs to the entire game.
If Elder Scrolls Online manages to catch your interest, then the brand new Brotherhood DLC seems like a good time to jump in. Or you could wait until October to jump back into Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with the Skyrim Special Edition.
